  Justrite Belt Gen and Cap.jpg - JUSTRITE BELT GENERATOR LAMP NO. 2-888 - Justrite belt generator and cap burner unit with two lenses, flexible hose, head strap and brace and web belt for generator  (Justrite offered a head lamp with belt generator (model No. 44 shown elsewhere in my pics) as early as 1914 in the Form 204 catalog.  In circular 116 printed during the 1920s, Justrite offered an improved head lamp and belt generator (model No. 88B with a head strap and model No. 33B with a cap hook) specifically aimed at the sportsman's market and called it the Hunter's Head Lamp.  By at least 1959, Justrite Catalog 589 once again offered a newer version of the Sportsman's Head Lamp with a model No. 2-888.  Justrite describes this lamp as the finest carbide head lamp ever made for rugged use in forests, jungles, swamps and where ever unfailing light is absolutely necessary.  The steel lacquered-black lamp burned 8 hours on an 8 ounce charge of miner's lamp carbide.)
